Healthy Eating: Myth Busters

"Eating healthy means eating bird food."
"It doesn't taste good."
"Health food is boring."
"You don't have many options."

Excuses! All excuses. This is what I have eaten today. I may have a drink or protein bar after my run tonight, but this is it. NOT BORING!
Breakfast: (bottom right):
1 cp Fage 0% Plain Greek Yogurt; 1/2 c Frozen organic raspberries (thawed); 1/4 cp Frozen organic blueberries (thawed); 1/4 cp Udi's GF Cranberry Granola; 1/2 banana; 1cp Almond Breeze Mocha Iced Coffee
 Total Calories: 526

Morning Snack (top LEFT):
Smoothie with 8oz Vanilla Cream premixed Muscle Milk protein shake, 1/4 cp Organic Frozen raspberries. 1/2 banana, 2 TB Organic Shredded Coconut; Eat Smart Veggie Medley (raw); 1 TB Boathouse Farms Ranch Yogurt dressing drizzled over
Total Calories: 251

Lunch (top RIGHT):
Beef Enchilada: Eye of round roast sautéed in red enchilada sauce, .75 oz. Cabot Colby Jack Cheese (shredded), 2 TB light sour cream, shredded green leaf lettuce, chopped tomato on Ezekiel tortilla
Total Calories: 554

Afternoon Snack (top middle):
Hormel REV Wrap in Pepperoni Pizza
Total Calories: 300

Dinner (bottom left):
4 oz boneless center cut pork chops, baked and lightly dusted with breadcrumbs; Steam in Microwave Asparagus Spears, Sweet Potato
Total Calories: 380

The cool thing? This could be modified if you need less calories in your diet because you are not as active as I am or maybe your starting weight is lower. But these meals were definitely not boring or bland!

BUSTED.
